Diet For Gastritis

In general, to keep your digestive system healthy, it is recommended that you practice good eating habits. As important as what you eat is how you eat. Eat moderate portions, eat at regular times and relax while eating.
Gastritis in a high percentage has been linked with a bacterium H. pylori.

Although not always possible to prevent infection by H. pylori, these dietary suggestions
can help reduce the risk of gastritis:

Eat wisely. If you experience frequent indigestion, make an effort to eat smaller portions but more frequent meals to help alleviate the effects of stomach acid. Here are foods to avoid and recommended to combat gastritis.

 Foods to avoid:

Heavy or spicy foods (especially at night, try to eat at least 2 hours before bedtime)
Spicy
Vinegar
Citic fruits (sour), lemon, orange, pineapple, strawberries, etc.
The fried
Soft drinks
Coffee, caffeinated tea
Alcohol. Excessive use of alcohol can irritate and erode the mucous membrane of the stomach, causing inflammation and bleeding.
Foods that contain fat, especially saturated animal fats, red meat, fatty cheese, whole milk, etc.
Food or drink very hot or very cold.
Canned
Sausages
The use of prescription drugs such as ibuprofen and naproxen.
Recommended Foods in gastritis :

Lean meats: beef, chicken, turkey or fish raw. All baked, broiled or grilled without the skin.
Fruits: apple, pear, banana, peaches, apricots and cantaloupe at first steamed, stewed, mashed or baked. Then to feel better, little by little texture can be increased until natural consumption.
Eggs: Boiled, poached or hard, never fried.
Breads: those that are lighter and contain no added sugar, preferably low or no fat.
Vegetables: Cooked Only, carrots, cored, tomatoes without skin and seeds, pumpkin, zucchini, asparagus, artichoke hearts, potatoes, etc. (All but the flatulent)
Milk: skimmed milk, whole yogurt, nonfat cheeses and unheated.
Sugar: integral, honey.
Oils: vegetable oils.
Pastas, such as pasta, ravioli or cannelloni filled only with soft and recommended.
Drinks: defatted broth, fruit juices and vegetables are allowed, water.
Cereals: rice, oats, polenta, etc.
Seasonings: sea salt, herbs such as parsley, rosemary, basil, cumin, oregano, etc..
General recommendations:

Do not smoke. Smoking interferes with the protective lining of the stomach, making your stomach more susceptible to gastritis and ulcers. Increases the secretion of stomach acid, which delays the healing
is a risk factor for stomach cancer.
Follow the advice of your doctor. Your doctor may recommend that
take a counter antacid or acid blocker to help prevent
recurrent gastritis
Practice good eating habits.
Maintain a healthy weight.  heartburn, bloating and constipation tend to be more common in people who are overweight.
Get plenty of exercise.
Control stress.
